we were only 6 persons in pvr. acting n story pethatic. wont recommend this movie. very dull and boring guys don't waste your money on this

Our audiences are strange. People will throng to watch trash and meaningless movies, while a beautiful film like SALUTE depicting the nation’s heroes - our brave soldiers and their families - runs in empty theatres and fizzles out within a week. So absorbing is the movie that one gets a lump in the throat al the way through. Some exceptional acting, especially from the secondary characters, and a well-built climax, make this a most watchable movie. Wish the good reviews prompt people to revive the viewership and enable it to run longer in the theatres. We can’t let movie makers shy away from doing this genre of films. That’s the least we can do to thank our defence forces.

Movie truly depicts the atrocities faced by war widows. Superb direction. Excellent acting by Jaspinder Cheema.nMelodious songs - nothing short of a Bollywood movie. Hope it's received well and appreciated by viewers.
