No Escape (U/A) 4 years ago
plenty of action packed in the movie and the scenes portrayed is brilliant. Owen Wilson's acting as the story develops is outstanding. A must see for the audience.

Action was good but lacked heart and soul. Characters and pacing were great but c'mon you just don't throw your daughter off of a building into another one and ask her too s**t herself. That's just unbelievable and hysterical.
The movie has a very similar plot to '71. A company executive from US has to shift is job in Asia due to a new technology the company has introoduced ans which is having some trouble. Not aware of the issues which had erupted due to his company taking over the water company in the Asian country. Angry locals who do not like this erupts and go on war looking to kill all foreigners. The family of 4 aling with pierce brosnan tries to escape this mob. A thriller with some nerve wrenching scenes. A worth watch

Loosely based upon any standard formula survival script, No Escape is a story of an American family caught in the crossfire in a revolting nation. The script as I said is a very standard survival story where the protagonist go through hell before witnessing heaven, and how. Aspects such as acting, screenplay, cinematography and direction doesn't have too many visible faults, and the movie doesn't depict the American heroics of saving the world - however, the script does have a twist, one that was predictable after watching for sometime however the irony of it takes the cake. I'll come to that later. The suspense is quite a bit spellbinding and keeps you on the edge of your seat for a considerable time ever for avid movie goers with a critical mindset. It has its own cinematic moments, drama and emotions too, none overboard. A technically well executed script without unnecessary histrionics is how I would summerise it - one that ends with an American family seeking asylum in Vietnam and succeeding in doing so. My rating ***1/2 - go for it.
